Speeding Vehicle Crash: Hospital Building Hit in Kansas City Incident

On Sunday, two individuals were taken to the hospital after a speeding vehicle collided with a building on the premises of a hospital in Kansas City, as stated by authorities.

According to an initial report from the Kansas City Police Department, the driver of a white Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on Olive Street at an exceptionally high speed.

At around 11:30 a.m., as the driver crossed Meyer Boulevard, they veered into the western section of the parking lot of Research Medical Center located at 2316 East Meyer Boulevard.

There, they first struck an unoccupied gray Hyundai Elantra before crashing into a brick storage building, according to the police.

Both the driver and the front-seat passenger were admitted to the hospital with severe injuries. However, their conditions have stabilized, as per the police report. No other individuals sustained injuries.

A continuous investigation by the police is underway to comprehend the circumstances of the accident.
