Publisher's Note

December 24, 2021

By Robin Gregg, Publisher & Editor

Well, 2021 has been a challenging year for Monroe-Ralls. We have had ups and downs from staff changes, moving both county office locations, quarantines, family health issues, COVID restrictions and printer quality problems, but we are still standing strong and it's because of our readers and advertisers who support us week to week. Thank you to each and everyone of you!!

I'd also like to send out a special Thank You to those who as submitted news to us; as well as Chris Willingham and Becca Evans for helping spotlight Paris and Mark Twain sporting events.

Many of you may not know but, Monroe-Ralls is the strongest that it has been in the last five years. Lacey and I plan to make the most of 2022 as we can. It's pretty hard to cover two counties' events though by ourselves. We'd love to attend each and every event, but it is just impossible.

We are hiring and looking for someone to help us bring news to our readers. If you are interested, please reach out to us. We have several options available as well as internships.

Lacey and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
